When I search Google for "croffel" their AI Overview snippet spits out:
A croffle is a pastry that combines the flavors of a croissant and a waffle. It became popular in South Korea and then spread around the world. Croffles can be filled with a variety of ingredients, such as cheese, bacon, or avocado.
Emphasis theirs. Well, I'll tell you what it's not. It's not for me.
After finding out about it being a thing today, I was naturally curious so went and got myself one from a place near Chinatown, London. It came inside a cardboard box where the agglomeration of the elements (AOTE) laid penetrated with a wooden stick.
The AOTE was glazed in whipped cream and accompanied by a blob of 'Red Bean' paste.
I ate it by holding the stick, kinda like you would a popsicle (ice lolly) or a chicken leg. Disposed of the cardboard box at the station and took a train home.
I do pity the CCTV footage officer who has to review it. "That man has a croissant on a stick!", which is possibly enough grounds to arrest one in France ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
